The School of Economics and Management is one of eight faculties within Lund University, and our activities cover education and research in business administration, business law, economic history, economics, informatics, and statistics, as well as research policy.
Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) is a faculty of Lund University, bringing together the units of the University that have educated managers for the Swedish and international business society for more than 50 years. The School’s alumni are frequently found among the leaders of important corporations and public agencies in Sweden and internationally. More than 4 000 students and 400 researchers, teachers and other staff members study and work at the School.

Lund University School of Economics and Management is an EQUIS accredited member of EFMD since 2001, having met the high standards of the European Quality Improvement System - EQUIS. In addition, Lund University is a member of the prestigious research-intensive university networks Universitas 21 and the League of European Research Universities (LERU).

The School of Economics and Management is located at the Holger Crafoord Centre - a modern campus area seething with activity. The Holger Crafoord Centre is strategically situated between the Ideon Science Park and the Faculty of Engineering. The Holger Crafoord Centre was established with the help of donations from the Crafoord Foundation in Lund, and is named after the industrialist Holger Crafoord (1908–1982).

Lund University is based in the city of Lund, close to Malmö (Sweden’s 3rd largest city) in the south of Sweden. This part of Sweden is very close to Denmark and Germany. The main campus buildings of Lund University are located in the centre of Lund and are an approximate 5-10 minutes' walk from the Lund railway station.

On 19 December 1666, the regency of Charles XI of Sweden took the decision to found Lund University, and the University was officially inauquarated on 28 January 1668. Now the 350th anniversary is approaching, we have chosen to celebrate both of these dates an the whole period between: from 19 December 2016 to 28 January 2018.
