By plane – via Malmö Airport (MMX) or via Copenhagen Airport (CPH). Both airports are accessible via bus. However Copenhagen Airport is better connected (via train) to Lund than Malmö Airport.
Copenhagen Airport to Lund Central Station: From the airport via Öresundstågen (platform at the airport) to Lund Central Station (circa 30 minutes on the train – departures every 20 minutes).
From Lund Central Station by bus: Line1 – get off at Warholms Väg (10 minutes on the bus + 3 minutes walk) Line 6 – get off at John Ericssons Väg (10 minutes on the bus + 5 minutes walk)
From Lund Central Station by taxi: Taxi landing close to the Lund Central Station to School of Economics - Departments of Informatics - Ole Römers Väg
Malmö Airport to Departments of Informatics by bus (Flygbussarna) to LTH Bus stop (circa 40 minutes bus ride + 10 minutes walk)
Payment on buses and trains
There are different train operators, with different tickets - all of them requires that ticket is bought in advance on the platform or at the station. Make sure that you buy the right ticket.
Two kinds of buses, region-bus and city-bus.
Region-bus is yellow and accepts credit/debit-card (Mastercard VISA).
City-bus is green and you CANNOT buy ticket onboard. Instead via ticket vending machine or via mobile app. Mobile App is clearly recommended on the green city-buses - Payment via App and your credit/debit-card - you don't need to find a ticket vending machine (can only be found at the large stations).
